Taking rest after harvesting
Ninh Binh is the capital city of Ninh Binh Province in North Vietnam, famous for the nearby Karst scenery around the village of Tam Coc. We rode on a boat to go around the river. Mountains surrounding the river have unique shapes. Farmers grow rice. The farmer in this picture harvested rice and take rest on his boar.

収穫後の一休み
ニンビンはニンビン省の首都で、タムコック村の周辺には美しいカルスト地形が拡がっています。山々は面白い形をしており、農民は浮稲栽培をしています。刈り取りも船で行い、この農夫は収穫後の船の上で一服しています。

Ha Long Bay is the most famous tourist spot of Vietnam. With my colleagues I visited Ha Long Bay in 2003. I drew these pictures from a big ship.

Van Mieu
I stayed in Hanoi for several months from 2002 until 2004. It was my first visit and stay in Vietnam.
I drew some pictures during my stay.
The upper one is a gate of “Van Mieu”, the oldest Vietnamese university.

バンミュー
2002年から2004年までハノイに数ヶ月逗留しました。最初の訪問であり、滞在でした。
その間、何枚かの絵を描きました。
上の絵はバンミュー（文廟）です。ベトナム最古の儒教の大学です。

Lotus Flower of Suoi Nuoc Nong Hua Pe
Mr. Dung and Ms. Ngan, our friends, took us to the hot spring, “Suoi Nuoc Nong Hua Pe” near the border of Vietnam and Laos. There is a big swimming pool with hot water. In the garden, beautiful lotus flowers are blooming.

友人のズン君とガンさんが我々を温泉に連れて行ってくれました。Suoi Nuoc Nong Hua Pe はラオスとの国境に近い村です。ここには大きな温泉プールがあり庭には美しい蓮の花が咲いていました。

The village of Thai people in Dien Bien Phu
Muong Phang commune in Dien Bien district was the headquarters of the Command Committee of the Dien Bien Phu campaign 60 years ago. We went around in the forest. There was a village of the Thai people.

ディエンビエンフーのタイ族の村
ディエンビエンフーの戦いに臨んだグエンボーザップ将軍の本部がムオンファンに置かれました。今は多くのベトナム人が訪れる観光地になっています。森のなかの道からタイ族の村を見ることが出来ました。美しい村です。

A1 Hill of Dien Bien Phu
A1 Hill is the most famous battlefield of Dien Bien Phu. The hill is 32 meters high, 82 thousand square meters large and 500 meters west of the headquarters of the French during the Dien Bien Phu campaign. It was the scene of the fiercest fighting between Vietnamese and French armies in 1954. (Source:Radio the Voice of Vietnam)
There are many Royal poinciana blooming on the hill. The red color of the flowers is impressive.

ディエンビエンフーのA1の丘
ディエンビエンフーのA1の丘は32メートルの高さと8万2千平方メートルの面積があり、フランス軍の本部から500メートル西にありました。1954年のベトナムとフランスの最後の激戦が行われた場所です。（The Voice of Vietnamウェブサイト）A1の丘の上には数多くの鳳凰木が満開でした。花の紅い色が印象的でした。
